The Lyceum of Monterey County is well known for after school and weekend enrichment programs in the Arts, Sciences, Music, Technology, and Humanities throughout Monterey County.
We are very excited about our Spring Catalog filled with many new programs for students in grades Pre-K through 12th. Class registration opens Monday, January 15th. Classes will take place between February and May 2007. Our classes range from one-day to semester long programs. If you are on our mailing list, expect to receive your catalog between January 10th and 15th. If you are not on our mailing list, please contact us at general@lyceum.org with your name and address and we will send a catalog to you. Everyone can also view our program on our website as of February 1, 2007. Our new site will launch at that time offering online registration.
New classes include: knitting, Experimental Robotics, Australian aboriginal art, face casting and decorating, art of bookmaking, adult classes, improvisational theater, French, Horse Communication, Braille, Cooking, retirement home tours with two greyhounds, resume evaluation, song writing and recording, hidden messages in literature, homework labs in math and english, salmon and trout restoration project, crime scene investigation, black holes, and an expanded rocket launch class.
